As President I will work to dramatically cut regulations on businesses to spur job creation. There are over 25,000 pages of regulations on American companies, and it grows by 10 additional regulations every day. On average it costs each American business $161,000 a year to comply with regulations. That is a burden on business that directly deters job creation, specifically on small business, the source of over half of all the jobs in America.
At a top tax rate of 35 percent, the United States has the second-highest corporate tax in the industrialized world. I will work to reduce that rate down to 18%, if not lower.
I will encourage and support American business research & development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and exploration of our own natural resources, which will foster an environment of job creation. But I also believe that we must get our trade deficit under control, or the jobs businesses create will continue to move overseas to support the imbalance.
Economy

Stimulus spending and temporary tax cuts have not, and will not provide relief to our economy. As President, I will work with, or fight with Congress if required to establish policies of economic growth that have been proven over time to produce true economic prosperity.
I will cut personal taxes including income tax, estate tax, capital gains tax and scores of other taxes and fees for all tax-paying Americans. I will work through various methods if required to end Obama care. I will address the massive federal debt and deficit by opposing any additional increase to the debt ceiling and by working to slash federal spending.
Reducing our federal debt will have a major impact on the growth of our economy. However, the only way to begin to pay down our debt is to spend less than we take in. Job growth and tax reductions will increase revenues to the government, but spending cuts are also required if we are to move from a budget deficit to a budget surplus, and then apply that surplus to the debt. In compliance with The Constitution I will propose dramatic reductions in the size of the federal government. I will work to eliminate entire departments, agencies and czar-led organizations that are in violation of the 10th Amendment, were established without the consent of Congress, or no longer serve the purpose for which they were created.
National Security
- Build a wall on our border with Mexico now
- Convert from "boots on the ground" to air support and Intel in the Middle East
- Support Israel, America’s only true ally in the region
The Constitution specifically requires the federal government to provide for the national defense. As President I would immediately begin construction on a wall stretching the entire length of our southern border. I would deploy the appropriate military resources to provide security during construction, and to continue to secure the wall after construction.
Concerning our wars in the Middle East, I believe our military has acted honorably and accomplished our original mission. Now it is time for those brave men and women to come home to their families and to receive the respect they have earned. Our mission in the Middle East is now one that does not require "boots on the ground" but rather reconnaissance from the air and targeted strikes when needed, along with a renewed intelligence effort.
An additional, yet vital component of our Middle East policy is our support of Israel. They are one of our few allies in the region and it is of great strategic interest for America to support them.
